Pool Deck Cleaning

Pool decks are made of many different types of material.  Each material is treated differently.  On inspection during our estimating process, we will determine the best treatment for your surface.

We use grey non-marking hoses so that we do not leave marks on your pool deck. In general we use the following guidelines:

Paver Pool Decks

Depending on the condition of your paver ,we will determine which method of cleaning to use.  A well-jointed paver deck would be cleaned using our surface cleaner, rinsed, then sprayed with a water/chlorine mix (known as mildicide).

Paver decks with open joints would be rinsed then treated with a water/chlorine mix (known as mildicide).   The goal is to clean the pavers and minimize the loss of sand from between the pavers.

Cool Deck & Painted Concrete Decks

These surfaces will be cleaned using the surface cleaner set at low pressure or using the wand set at low pressure, depending on the condition of the painted surface. Finally, the surface would be rinsed and then a spray of a water/chlorine mix (known as mildicide) would be applied.  Again, the goal is to leave you with a bright clean pool deck with minimal impact.

River Rock Decks

River Rock surfaces are cleaned with low pressure to minimize dislodging of the rocks.  If some loose rocks are present great care is taken to avoid getting them in the pool.  Finally, the surface would be rinsed and then a spray of a water/chlorine mix (known as mildicide) would be applied.  Again, the goal is to leave you with a bright clean pool deck with minimal impact.
